The year in numbers

In 2017, we continued to deliver on our vision to provide high quality and affordable eye care to more and more people around the world. Our store network grew by 7.4% through store openings and acquisitions. The continued network expansion reached its highest contribution ever with more than 450 opened stores, resulting in a net addition of over 250 stores. Acquisitions, including Tesco Opticians in the UK added over 220 stores. As a result, GrandVision’s network reached 7,001 stores at the end of the year.
